Before you say it, yes, cancer is serious. However, as I have mentioned to everyone possible, breast cancer is highly treatable. Therefore, since nearly everyone will get some disease at some time in their life I consider myself lucky to have this one. Consider the alternatives, ALS, MS, Oral cancer, pregnancy (lol), Leprosy, necrotizing fasciitis, small pox, ebola, arthritis, elephantiasis, acromelagy...see where I'm going with this. My little cancer can, and most likely, will be treated and I will be cured. So, panic not my friends. I'm not afraid, angry or thumping my chest saying "Why me?" As I see it I feel very blessed to be extremely healthy (except for the little cancer), strong, surrounded by lots of people who love and support me and most important, I have a very positive outlook. So, leave all negative vibes at home and follow me on our journey down the Pink Ribbon Highway!
